Reservation system for a school fundraiser selling roses with personal dedications: a booking site, an iOS app for the class committee and a Node and PostgreSQL backend. Over 200 reservations handled live.
Overview
A school class wanted to raise money by selling roses with personal dedications, and keeping track of orders, dedications and payments by hand was going to be chaos. So I built the whole system. Buyers reserve their rose and write the dedication on an Astro site. The class committee uses a SwiftUI app to see orders and payments as they come in. Both talk to a Node and Express backend with PostgreSQL on Supabase. More than 200 reservations went through it, handled live.
